Abstract

WE have recently completed an investigation to determine the relation between the energy of protons, α-particles and other light nuclei and their range in the new Ilford 'Nuclear Research' emulsions1. A complete account of the experiments is now in the press2, but in view of present delays in publication and for the convenience of other workers we wish to give a short account of the results.
