THE sudden death of John Maynard Keynes on X the morning of Easter Sunday, 1946, deprived the world of the greatest economist of these times and Britain pf one of her noblest sons. This article concenates entirely on his principal contributions to econcmic science and leaves untouched the many other fields in each of which his achievements would seem to most men a fitting life-work.
