A Sympathomometic Pressor Substance in Animal Organ Extracts

Abstract

DURING a quantitative study of the piperidine content of various animal organs, following the identification of this substance as a normal constituent of urine1, it was observed that most organs contain considerable amounts of a pressor substance different from piperidine.
