Abstract

(1) ALTHOUGH the United States has for many years been the chief sulphuric acid-producing country in the world yet, curiously, its technical experts have, hitherto, omitted to make any notable contribution to the standard works dealing with: the manufacture of this commodity. The advent of this monograph not only repairs this omission but also gives a welcome insight into the recent developments which have taken place in America.
