Abstract
IN a recent paper,1 I have analysed the band spectrum of lithium hydride. The general features of the band spectrum were somewhat different from ordinary molecular spectra, and definite edges or heads were hard to trace. Consequently, in the study of the isotope effect of lithium upon this spectrum, the vibrational isotope effect together with the rotational one have been examined in each line of the band spectrum.
