Circadian Rhythmicity in Susceptibility of Mice to Sublethal Coxsackie B3 Infection

Abstract

We have reported a circadian periodicity of mortality following exposure of mice to equal numbers of proliferating Diplococcus pneumoniae at different times of day1 and these findings have been confirmed by other investigators2,3. We report here a daily rhythmicity in the susceptibility of mice to Coxsackie B3 virus.
