Regional Estimation of Fresh Groundwater Vulnerability: Methodological Aspects and Practical Applications

  • Published:
Water Resources Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Two independent methods for estimating groundwater vulnerability to pollution are described. The methods are used for regions with different geological and hydrogeological conditions. A new combined approach taking into account the physicochemical processes that take place in all parts of the protected zone is proposed.
