Abstract
The results of a complex investigation of the multicomponent heterostructures based on the A 3 B 5 compounds are presented by the example of bismuth-containing solid solutions. The investigation was performed using the Auger electron and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The component profiles in the structures are obtained. The properties and prospects of these compounds are described.
