On Possibilities of Acoustic Remote Nondestructive Testing of Long Objects

Abstract

The maximum sounding depth is estimated on the basis of an analysis of acoustic channel equations for the echo pulse testing method when the classical method of ultrasonic flaw detection by means of longitudinal waves is used and the testing technology is realized by means of Pohgammer waves.
