Structure of Potassium Carbonate Complexes with Phenols and Thiophenols in Aproyic Dipolar Solvents

Abstract

By means of IR, 1H, 13C, and 39K NMR spectroscopy the potassium carbonate was demonstrated to form complexes with phenols and thiophenols in aprotic dipolar solvents of the composition (2ArXH)-K2CO3.
