“Saturation” Effect in Description of Heteropolar Covalent Bonds within Thermochemical Approach

Abstract

An approach allowing more adequate evaluation of the dissociation energies of strongly polar heteroatomic bonds without knowledge of additional geometrical parameters was developed within the Pauling concept taking into account the “saturation effect.”
