Carboxymethyl Cellulose Amides and Their Properties

Abstract

Single-stage synthesis of carboxymethyl cellulose amides was studied. The influence exerted by introduction of amide groups with bulky alkyl radicals on the thermodynamic affinity of mixed cellulose ethers for a solvent and their solubility in water was evaluated.
