Abstract
The contact extraction of copper in the form of dispersed powders onto compact zinc from H2SO4-CuSO4 and H2SO4-CuSO4-ZnSO4 solutions was studied. The influence exerted by acidity and temperature of the solution on the rate and time of cementation, specific consumption of metallic zinc, and morphology of copper deposits was investigated.
