Abstract

Structural and sorption characteristics of natural carbonaceous sorbents and thermally expanded graphite were examined. Acid-base sites on the sorbent surface were characterized qualitatively and quantitatively. The performance of the materials in wastewater treatment to remove anionic surfactants was studied.
