Abstract
Formation of polymer replicas on the surface of a steel microsection is considered as a physicochemical process that occurs on the “microsection surface – polymer solution” interphase. The dependence of the limiting wetting angle on the concentration polymer solutions is determined. A polymer solution providing replicas adequately reflecting the studied microstructure is recommended for practical use.
