Abstract
The effect of the SiC reinforcing component (5 – 15%) and the TiH2 expanding agent (1 – 4%) on the structure of the pore space of sheets from aluminum alloy 01204 (the Al – Mg – Si system) fabricated by the method of powder metallurgy is studied. The volume fraction of pores and their specific surface in the process of heating (foaming) of the sheets are evaluated.
