Error Characteristics of a Nonlinear Sensor Used with a Linearizer

Abstract

A formula is derived for the basic error of a measurement channel containing a nonlinear sensor and a linearizer matched to it. It is shown that a two-term formula is unsuitable for standardizing the error of such a combination.
