Refinement of the Requirements Regarding the Errors When Measuring the Effective Scattering Cross Section of Objects Taking into Account the Operating Characteristics of the Detection Instruments

Abstract

The basis for the requirements imposed on the error in measuring the effective scattering cross section is considered. It is shown that to ensure the same errors when calculating the detection range for different types of detecting instruments, the requirements imposed on the error of the effective scattering cross section need to be changed.
