Trends in Thermometry

Abstract

Cryogenic thermometry at temperatures below 4 K will be reviewed with focus on recent developments and trends in micro- and nano-lithographic electron gas thermometers. We describe in more detail thermometry based on hybrid tunnel junctions, on Coulomb blockade (CBT), and on shot noise (SNT).
