Dilatometry and Dielectric Properties of Ba2RTaO6 (R = La, Pr, Sm, Dy) Ceramics

Inorganic Materials Aims and scope

Abstract

The dielectric properties of Ba2RTaO6 (R = La, Pr, Sm, Dy) perovskites are measured for the first time in the microwave range (1 GHz). Dilatometric data indicate that these materials undergo phase transitions. Ba2PrTaO6 is shown to be a candidate material for the fabrication of miniature microwave devices.
