Molecular cloning of cDNAs encoding FSH-β and LH-β subunits in the pejerrey fish, Odontesthes bonariensis

Abstract

Fragments of the cDNAs encoding for FSH-β (428 bp) and LH-β (366 bp) subunits were studied in the pejerrey (pj), Odontesthes bonariensis, Pejerrey gonadotropins (GtHs) are close to percomorpha fish GtHs, LH-β has been better conserved than FSH-β during teleosts evolution.
