Effect of Aggressive Media on the Structure and Properties of Polycon Modified Chemisorption Materials

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Abstract

Use of polyethylene polyamine for chemical modification of polyacrylonitrile fibre increases the permeability of the ion-exchange polymer matrix synthesized on its surface. Modified Polycon materials have high resistance to acid medium (pH 0.3-3.6) and are slightly less stable in weakly basic medium.
