The C Operator in iϕ 3 Field Theory

Abstract

The C operator defines a dynamically-determined positive-definite metric in PT-symmetric theories. We show how the operator formalism for the perturbative calculation of C can be extended from quantum mechanics to quantum field theory with a cubic self interaction.
