Abstract
A new method of manufacturing Vaseline from Azerbaidzhan crudes by hydrogenation treatment is proposed. It is shown that hydrogenation on nickel aluminosilicate catalyst at relatively low temperatures (300–320°C) ensures a high yield (80–88% in feedstock) of medical Vaseline that satisfies current requirements.
