Larvae of Barnacles (Cirripedia: Thoracica) in the White Sea Plankton

Abstract

The barnacle fauna of the White Sea is briefly described. The morphology of barnacle larvae in this water body is comparatively analyzed. The characters important for the larvae identification are given particular attention. A classification key for the naupliar and cyprid larvae of White Sea barnacles is proposed.
