Abstract
We studied the possibility of co-directed stimulatory effects of the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems on the motility of gallbladder, Oddi sphincter, and adjacent ascending portion of the duodenum. It is established that serotoninergic intramural neurons transmitting excitatory influences to 5HT1,2-serotonin receptors of the effector tissues participate in this stimulatory effect.
