Abstract
A spectrophotometric procedure is developed for the simultaneous determination of ammonia, NO, and NO2 in the reaction products of the catalytic oxidation of ammonia under industrial conditions. Samples are taken from the reactor, and the analysis is made at 250°C. A multiple linear regression is used for the calibration. The relative standard deviation of the determination of ammonia and nitrogen oxides is no higher than 6%.
