Abstract

A multi-server queueing system with a semi-Markov input flow of two types of customers, Markov service, a common buffer of finite capacity, and random-service discipline is investigated. The method of Markov imbedded chain is applied to find the stationary distribution of the main service characteristics of this system. By way of example, a system with phase-type service time distribution is given.
