Dissolution of Alumina-Silicate Refractories in Slag Melts

  • Published:
Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Aims and scope

Abstract

Experimental relationships between the rate of dissolution of an alumina-silicate refractory and the physical properties of slag melts (viscosity, surface tension, wetting angle) at different refractory–slag contact times are considered.
