Strength of Materials Aims and scope

Abstract

We pose the problem of numerical analysis of nonstationary deformation and strength of multilayer shells of revolution under impulsive loading and propose a procedure of its realization. Within the framework of the model of Timoshenko-type shells, we deduce the equations of motion of multilayer shells of revolution and perform the numerical simulation of the dynamic behavior of multilayer shells under axially symmetric impulsive loading.
