Information-Entropy and Purity of Decoherence Functions

Abstract

The structure of the spaces of propositions anddecoherence functions in the consistent-historiesapproach to generalized quantum theory is outlined. Itis shown that although the space of decoherencefunctions is convex, there are no pure decoherencefunctions. A definition of information-entropy isdescribed which no needs no a priori notion oftime.
