An Alternative Method to Analyze Field Distribution in Curved Dielectric Waveguides

Abstract

A simple and effective method is proposed to analyze the field distribution of a curved dielectric waveguide with rectangular cross-section. Numerical results are compared with the measured values. It is shown that the present approach is effective and reliable.
