Effect of Alloying Elements on the Temperature Dependence of the Rate Constants and on the Activation Energy of Oxidation of Titanium Alloys

Abstract

The influence exerted by the nature, concentration of alloying elements on the temperaturedependence of the rate constants and on the activation energy of oxidation of titanium alloys in air at 823-1473 K was considered.
