Abstract

Conjugated polymer/metal interfaces are formed during the construction of thin-film polymer light-emitting diodes. The nature of the interface may affect device operation. This paper describes the use of computational chemical methods in modelling the interface formed when aluminum is deposited onto a thin film of polythiophene.
