Asymmetric Compression of Cylindrical Shells by Detonation Products

  • Published:
Strength of Materials Aims and scope

Abstract

Numerical simulation results of the non-symmetric compression of elastoplastic shells under the action of detonation products are presented. Specific effects of the manufacturing errors and physicomechanical characteristics of the shell and explosive materials on the deformation processes are shown.
