Limiting-State Analysis of Structures and Foundation Beds

  • Published:
Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering Aims and scope

Abstract

A new approach to analysis of structures and foundation beds on the basis of limiting states, which takes into account modern potentials of geotechnics and computational mathematics, is presented. Basic problems that arise during implementation of this approach are formulated. Means of solving some of these problems are projected.
