Abstract
Effect of supporting electrolyte asymmetry on the curves of differential capacitance of the electrical double layer during adsorption of organic cations at an electrode is considered within the Alekseev–Popov–Kolotyrkin model supplemented by a Frumkin isotherm. Taking into account the asymmetry substantially improves quantitative agreement between model calculations and experiment.
