Influence of Discrete Longitudinal Ribs on Harmonic Waves in Cylindrical Shells

Abstract

The influence of discrete longitudinal ribs on harmonic waves in cylindrical shells is studied by numerical examples. It is shown that the presence of discrete ribs is manifested as an increased number and changed shape of the dispersion curves
