Experimental Investigation into Deformation of Semi-Brittle Materials. Communication II: Strengthening and Loosening under Complex Loading

  • Published:
Journal of Mining Science Aims and scope

Abstract

The deformation of semi-brittle material is investigated under conditions of complex loading. Measurement of three principal strains made it possible to determine the influence of the stress state type and complex additional loading on the character of elastoplastic deformation, as well as material loosening.
