Abstract
Based on a system of two mixed Frumkin isotherms, the adsorption behavior of an organic substance whose molecules change their orientation in the surface layer from plane to vertical with an increase in the volume concentration is simulated. Equations that determine the boundary at which a single-solution system of isotherms turns into a system with several solutions when all three parameters of intermolecular interaction a 11, a 12, and a 22 are nonzero are derived. The dependence of this boundary on the parameter a 12 is shown to deviate substantially from that in the case of coadsorption of two different substances with equal coefficients of displacement.
