Abstract
The paper considers the possibility of increasing the efficiency of operation of eddy-current devices inspecting the metal inclusion content in a paramagnetic material, in particular, in granular foam plastic, by designing standard samples equivalent to the given content of the inhomogeneity of a material. It is shown that the designed and certified sets of manufacturer's standard samples make it possible to optimize the tuning parameters of a typical eddy-current device with respect to a particular content of the inhomogeneity of a material or product fabricated by the manufacturer.
