Abstract

Electrochemical deposition of copper from CuSO4 + HNO3 (in excess) solution on a vertical electrode under conditions of natural convection is considered. It this case the mass coefficient ∂ρ/∂\(c_{{\text{CuSO}}_{\text{4}} } \) in the expression for the limiting current is replaced by the mass coefficient corresponding to cupric nitrate.
