Abstract
Mechanical properties of a plate from aluminum alloy AMg5 in different states are considered. Tests of transverse specimens and specimens cut in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the plate (z-specimens) are described. The properties of the metal in the transverse and z directions under various force actions are compared.
