Abstract
Densities of glycerol + N,N-Dimethylformamide (DMF) and glycerol + water mixtures have been measured over the full range of compositions at 25 and 35°C. Excess molar volumes and excess partial molar volumes, of each system have been calculated. All mixtures show negative values of the excess molar volume due to increased interactions between unlike molecules.
