Abstract
A method for obtaining wideband optical radiation with synthesized temporal coherency is substantiated. The wideband Fizeau interferometers for control of plane and spherical surfaces, as well as for remote control of the optical thickness of samples, created on the basis of this method are described. These devices measure the characteristics of optical elements having up to 300 mm in diameter with accuracy up to several angström in real time.
