Diagnostics of Piezoelectric Sensors from the Form of Their Decaying Resonance Oscillations

Abstract

The dependence of the form of electrically excited decaying oscillations of a piezoelectric sensor on certain defects is determined experimentally. It is suggested that an oscillogram of such oscillations should be included in the calibration certificate of the sensor.
