Journal of Mining Science Aims and scope

Abstract

The possibility is considered for using the multilayer perceptron and radial-function neural networks for predicting the load on excavating machines. The analysis of stochastic change in the cutting force is required to study the processes of mineral excavation by the combined cutter loader. The methods based on the fuzzy expert systems are proposed for controlling these processes in real time.
