Abstract

Two-phase, nonstoichiometric hydroxoapatites were synthesized, studied by X-ray phaseand chemical analyses and by IR spectroscopy. A probable mechanism of solid-phase conversion of non-stoichiometric hydroxoapatite into two-phase calcium phosphate was considered on the basis of the model proposed and calculations.
