Abstract
A method for determining the parameters of acid solution in waterwall tubes of a drum boiler based on chemical analysis of the solution drained from the boiler is described. By the data of full-scale testing the condensation of low-potential steam fed into the waterwalls for heating the washing solution substantially affects the temperature of the solution, the concentration of the acid, and the efficiency of chemical cleaning of the tubes over the height of the boiler.
