Abstract

In this short review we present the current observationalstatus of high mass pulsating stars. We give an overview of the results of the first asteroseismicstudies performed for some of the best known β Cepheiand slowly pulsating B stars and discuss the asteroseismicpotential of these pulsators for future ground-and space-based data-sets.
